Doing your own dental work

M&M is a brave soul or on second thought maybe greed is her motivator. A few months ago, she tried to convince TFOLT and me that she had a loose tooth. She so wanted a visit from the tooth fairy. She did not have a loose tooth and I informed her it would be many months before she did have a loose tooth. Never to be deterred by little ole' facts, M&M took matters in her own hands, literally. A short time later, I was greeted by a grinning girl whose face was covered in blood proudly sporting a bloody tooth in hand. The tooth fairy visited our home that evening, but she left M&M a curt note reminding M&M of rule number 612 subsection 43: if you remove your tooth yourself, and it was not loose, the tooth fairy will not leave any legal tender for said tooth.

Monday M&M proudly announced to the anesthesiologist that she had a loose tooth. It was confirmed that the tooth was loose. Today, M&M ventured into a land like all of her siblings before her, "lets gross out mom!". The tooth was hanging by a string. I do not know about you, but it always sends shudders of fear up my spine, UGH! GROSS! Where the heck is TFOL when you need him? Unlike her siblings M&M was able to make quick work of the tooth.
