I am no longer in love...

I am no longer in love. I do believe this makes me a good American. I have ended my love affair with England...precisely BBC. I can now claim  I am a revolutionist, I know, I am only about 230 years late but better late than never.

I just recently finished watching Downton Abby. I know I am only 6 months behind the rest of the world. I have an excuse, I have a life. Alright stop laughing. I can dream can't I?, but I digress. Have the Crawleys not suffered enough? It makes me wonder what is going on across the pond because it seems like all my favorite shows lead characters have the same fate. "Gosh I have no idea where we are going with this plot. I know! lets kill everyone".

Doctor Who: Killing of the main characters is so unbecoming for the Doctor so instead lets trap them in some weird fix time spot that even River and the Doctor cannot save Rory and Amy from. Anyone remember Rose? At least she got to live her life out with her pseudo Doctor. Oh if that does not work, keep introducing the same person over and over and make sure they die in every episode they are in.

Sherlock Holmes: Brilliant writing that is just riveting. Why yes almost everything went way over my head but that is okay I will catch on the second, third or tenth time I watch it.  Oh lets kill off the main killer and oh ya why we are at it you need to wait 2 years for a new season. We just want to see if you are really a fan of the show. True fans know how to wait.

Oh and just do not get me started on Torchwood. First lets litter clues for Torchwood all through out another show. Try to connect them dots. I get brain dizzy just doing 2+2. Why we are at it,  kill almost everyone off and leave us hanging on the cliff. How is the view from that cliff? Oh you know how you have to wait two years in between seasons for Sherlock Holmes? Peanuts! Try waiting a decade.

I am sure BBC is taking a page from the playbook from this man who thought nothing of making one wait 16 years between episodes and killing off all the main characters.
